CT Wellbore Cleanout
Cleaning wellbore fill material such as sand from wellbores is one of the major service that coiled tubing can provide. Many reservoirs produce sand or fines that can’t be carried to surface and subsequently accumulate and restrict hydrocarbon production.
The process of cleaning solids out of a wellbore requires pumping a high viscous fluid down into the well, capture the solids into the wash fluid and subsequently carrying the solids to the surface. Cleanouts can be done with many different configurations of wash nozzle.
With coiled tubing, cleanout operations can be used routinely without removing the completion equipment or even killing the well.
